With the improvement of Social and economy environment, as a new talent shapers, the more direct impact on the future of education development and the improvement of the quality of talent. The primary stage is a starting point of formal learning basic outlook on life, values, the initial formation of primary school teachers on human growth and life on the road of choice has an important effect.China and Korea are both belong to the eastern culture circle. And there are a lot in common between the two countries’teacher education. There are some similarities and also differences in the in-service training system in primary school teachers Analyzing these similarities and differences may do some help to deal with the same issues which both countries are facing with, and furthermore might promote the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in this fields, and might also offer some inspiration and experience to the development of the two countries’ education.With the method of documentation analysis and comparison, this dissertation did an overall comparative study on China and Korea’s in-service training system for primary school teachers. This essay mainly compares the two countries’in-service training system for primary school teachers from two aspects, first is, the training system and the policies and regulations. On the training system, both China and Korea aim to develop the teachers’professionalization and quality. However, China pay more attention to ideological and political education, while Korea attach more importance on humanistic outcomes. Both China and Korea have training institutions for teachers, there are no differences between them. Although china has carry out the credits registration and management in training evaluation, but Korea’s credits registration and management system is more better.To sum up, China’s in-service training system for primary school teachers has some features such as the policies and regulations are not complete, training for all the teachers, the diversification of the training levels, and pluralism of training approaches. The Korea’s has some features such as the policies and regulations are more completely, the training target is abroad, training types are various, curriculum standards are explicit, and training results are directly linked up with the teachers’ promotion etc.The author believes that Korea’s in-service training system has some inspiration on ours primary school teachers vocational training system reform and improvement. on vocational training in the improvement of policies, in rules and regulations, the diversification of the types of qualification training, course content and training in the form of innovation.
