Short track speed skating is China’s traditional advantageous winter game, andaccompanying with good scores and many excellent speed skaters, has a fastdevelopment in recent years, which is closed related to the scientific training programof the Short Track Speed Skating team. Short Track Speed Skating is an endurancesport, with aerobic capacity as a key of good performance. And it is critical issue forthe coaches and scientists to figure out how to evaluate the aerobic capacity of anathlete. This paper used the elite short track speeding skaters of Chinese youth shorttrack speeding staking team as analysis subjects, and compared the aerobaticendurance training methods on ground sports by data from articles, interviews ofexperts, experiments and statistics. According to the features of short track speedskating and the Chinese athletes’ personality, this paper borrowed both the domesticand foreign aerobatic endurance training experiences and theories, and made outdifferent training methods and measures on the basis of aerobic training in short trackspeeding skating. It aims to figure out the efficient means to improve the aerobiccapacity by combining common aerobic training and specific feature training, in orderto improve the aerobic capacity of Chinese athletes, test the efficiency of non-ice-timetraining method on promotion of aerobic capacity, and complete the training systemof non-ice-time training for Chinese ice sports. It will maximize the transformation ofaerobic endurance from on-land training to on-ice performance, and realize theeffectiveness and efficiency of scientific training on land-to-ice aerobic endurance.Research shows that: among the on-land training of aerobic capacity for Chineseshort track speeding skaters, cycling is the most helpful for the improvement ofaerobic endurance, and some certain methods can lead to different results. In a test tojudge the aerobic capacity with nonaerobic threshold, with a lactate level between2-4mmol/L and a150-160beat/min heart rate, the long time and low intensity trainingcan affect the athletes the most. In all, nonaerobic threshold can, more than maximumoxygen absorption, reflect the aerobic capacity of short track speeding skater.
