Moreover, for counselors, the other main proponents of the ideological and political education, their duty in ideological and political education has weakening phenomenon in some degrees. Thus improvements of their work are needed. How should we face the challenges? As a viable form of education, the life-oriented ideological and political education came into being. In my opinion, life is the real foundation of ideological and political education, which comes from life and must be carried out in life. Therefore, this article advocates the life-oriented ideological and political education, and advocates to place the subject in daily life, and refines the educational content from life, and integrates the teaching methods into life. In a word, the life-oriented ideological and political education is a favor of letting students receive educational information, educational content in a completely life-oriented atmosphere, allowing students to upgrade in this process. It has some positive significance to realize the objectives of ideological and political education eventually.How to make the ideological and political education facing university students life-oriented is elaborated in details.
