Public Pedagogy is a science of researching educational phenomena, revealing thelaw of education. In recent years, the study of public education around the classroomteaching methods reform, which the application of case studies in the Public Pedagogyis rare. In Public Pedagogy Teaching apply cases in order to better promote the linkbetween theoretical knowledge and practical skills, students through research anddiscussion on real events, not only deepen the understanding of theoretical knowledge,at the same time exercise the ability of the students cooperation and innovation. Caseteaching completely embodies the teaching principles of teaching-led student body, allactivities are centered on students, and teachers in teaching help guide and grasp of therole of global. Application cases in the teaching have some differences with the caseteaching method, but there are some commonalities. Both are the teaching method ofcentering on cases, rounding the teaching purposes, students’ participating in, but thecase teaching is more focused on the overall modeling.This article is based on the Harbin Normal University as a case study, through thereach of the status, summary of problems and proposed improvement strategies. Thisarticle is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction, including the problem,summary of research at home and abroad, and study design, definition of relevantconcepts and innovation of this paper. The second part overview of the theory, includingcase selection, case presentation, case discussions and teachers a summary valuation offour parts. The third part is the analysis of the case application status of PublicPedagogy teaching, including two parts of the questionnaire shows and the data analysis.The fourth part is accordance with the data analysis in Chapter three, summary of theproblems; analyze the causes of the problems, and the corresponding improvementstrategies.
