In China, the balanced development of education is the practical needs and strategicchoice. Web-based interscholastic collaborative learning is an effective way to promote thebalanced education. Nowadays with the rapid development of society, politic, economy,science and culture, higher requirements are put forward for the future talents. Therefore,instead of formalistic study, Web-based interscholastic collaborative learning should focus oncultivating the learners’ critical analysis ability, advanced thinking skills, strong problemsolving ability and lifelong learning skills which is called deep learning.The implement of Web-based interscholastic collaborative learning must rely networkcollaborative learning platform. Social interaction is the basis of collaborative learningactivities. At the same time, many studies have shown that: real-time social interaction is aneffective means to promote deep learning. Therefore, the function of platform interaction isthe key factors to promote deep learning in interscholastic collaborative learning. Based onthe above background, this study collected, used and analyzed some typical networkcollaborative learning platform and found that they are inadequate to support effectiveinteraction. The function of promote student-depth dialogue and deep learning should beimproved. Therefore, design and development for an effectual interactive system to promotedeep learning is necessary.First of all, this study put collaboration theory, group dynamics theory, situated cognitiontheory and group dynamics theory as the guide, based on system design methodology,analysis the user needs deeply. Also, we should take measures to promote students’ deepdiscussion and refine the function of the deep study: text real-time interaction and graphicalreal-time interaction.Then, in the explosive process the B/S model construction is adopted. Php, java, andintegrated technology are used to develop and implement the default function. Test is used toimprove and refine the system.Finally, the study organized some students from different universities to the application of the system and selected the video networking technology as the content of discussion. Theapplication results show that: through the collaborative interaction based on this system,students have a deep understanding of knowledge and problem solving skills has improved.From the view of environmental design and technology realization, the system has been topromote students’ deep learning.
