Balanced development of education is the practical need and strategic choice of ourbasic education, and the intercollegiate collaborative based on the network provides a strong support to promote its development. However, through the practice research, it could found that the form and effect of the intercollegiate collaborative activities is neithersatisfactory. What is mainly reflected in the activities is that the default of the instructor is very strong; and after the event, students can not build complete mental models, and cannot achieve real understanding. How to effectively carry out the intercollegiate collaborative learning? How to apply right strategy to promote students’ deep understanding? Howto achieve win-win situations of the quantitative form and quality of the effect of the intercollegiate collaborative learning is a valuable and urgently needed research topic which should be concerned in the current intercollegiate collaborative research.The research is thinking of the above problems. In this study, through the survey and analysis of related domestic and foreign literature, the connotation of the understanding learning, includes the construction of individual mental models and complete understanding performance. For this, starting from changing the internal mental model of the learners, and combined with the practical teaching activities of the intercollegiate collaborative learning, it proposes “subjects productive” strategy to promote a deep understanding of knowledge for the learner. At the same time, well designing the “theme generation” strategy, and combined with the intercollegiate collaborative learning platform, it develops the appropriate technology module. Finally, the writer carried out collaborative experiments to verify the effectiveness of the experimental results, which makes the conclusion that the “theme generation” strategy plays a very significant positive role to promote students’ understanding in the learning process of the intercollegiate collaboration.In conclusion, the study focusing on the intercollegiate collaboration to promote students’ understanding, proposes a “subjects productive” strategy, and through the practice of research, it makes an application validation, and does a valuable complement to the understanding learning of the intercollegiate collaboration from both theory and practice.
