With the development of technology revolution and science education in the course of modernization, science and technology education has become the leading force of school education, while the role of humanistic education has been declining, thus resulting in the loss of humanism, the great impact on the role of moral education and the global moral decline. In the development process, governments and scholars have recognized the significance of strengthening school moral education and man’s moral character development, nevertheless, the development orientation of an economic society lies mainly in the standard of explicit and quantitative indexes of the science and technology education based on economic development. The unclear understanding and difficult quantification of the great advantage of presented human resources in school moral education and man’s moral character have caused the low effect of moral education within and outside of the school education system and have generated the paradox between the low effect of school moral education and the poor condition of citizens’ moral character, which is resulted from the deficient policy implementation. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen school moral education and man’s moral character by enhancing the education of humanism and learning the essence of ancient academy education.As a very important and special educational institution in ancient China, the academy, under the education concepts of moral education, attached importance to the cultivation of learner’s moral character. Consequently, the academy achieved significant educational effect in the ancient educational history in China. The people trained in the academy had lofty ideals and became the moral models of all ages and classes. Accordingly, the reform and development of contemporary moral education in schools can not do without the support of traditional moral education of the ancient academy. It should learn from the ideological essence of ancient academy, and meanwhile, based on the reality of the contemporary development, summarize systematically and reflect profoundly the moral education thoughts of the academy education, utilizing it in our moral education in schools. The ancient academy of Bai nationality, which is an important part of ancient academy education in China, has a very important role for Bai people to study traditional Chinese culture and to promote the historical changes of the Bai culture and eventually to form their own unique culture process. A clear study of the content of moral education in the ancient Bai academy is not only helpful to the moral education of the Bai area, but also a beneficial supplement to the moral construction and school moral education in the new era. Moreover, it will promote the overall construction of socialist system of core value and socialist harmonious society.
