The people trained in the academy had lofty ideals and became the moral models of all ages and classes. Accordingly, the reform and development of contemporary moral education in schools can not do without the support of traditional moral education of the ancient academy. It should learn from the ideological essence of ancient academy, and meanwhile, based on the reality of the contemporary development, summarize systematically and reflect profoundly the moral education thoughts of the academy education, utilizing it in our moral education in schools. The ancient academy of Bai nationality, which is an important part of ancient academy education in China, has a very important role for Bai people to study traditional Chinese culture and to promote the historical changes of the Bai culture and eventually to form their own unique culture process. A clear study of the content of moral education in the ancient Bai academy is not only helpful to the moral education of the Bai area, but also a beneficial supplement to the moral construction and school moral education in the new era. Moreover, it will promote the overall construction of socialist system of core value and socialist harmonious society.
