The first half of the20th,the development Chinese university education department has result already, also has inadequacy. This article is based on the change of university education department and tries hard to provide a reference.Specifically,the research of this paper includes the following aspects:First, Introduction.This chapter points out relative research, narrative its foundation.Besides, this chapter states main contents and research methods.Second, The appearance of Chinese university education department in the first half of the20th.It points out that higher normal education curriculum is the beginning of university department, the first education department started in Beijing Higher Normal school in1915.The main causes were national policies, the investment of funds,the rise of normal education, the need of education discipline’s development, returned students and the characteristics of education department were focused on higher normal school, mainly cultivated teachers, curriculum and texts were from abroad, teachers were mainly students abroad, early academic.Third, The formation of Chinese university education department in the first half of the20th.The reasons were national policy to protect, funds, the students from the American construction.The characteristics focused on comprehensive universities, much more comprehensive tasks, academic promting, different targets in public or private university, focus on academic study, curriculum and texts simulated American, completely but different, teachers mainly from the United States.Fourth,The development of Chinese university education department in the first half of the20th.In1938, the need of training teachers and cultiving war-time personnel,chinese university education department began to develop.The characteristics were the comprehensive university education department continued to develop, independent college education department also increased, curriculum had its standard.These education department gained big achievement.Fifth, The analysis of the change of Chinese university education department.Asfollows:simulate America,subordination confused,localization unbalanced, tasks is partial, major settings overall, curriculum settings overall but confused, teachers mainly are students Abroad.Sixth, The enlightenment of the changes of Chinese university education department.It points out university education department development must pay attention to the reasonable inheritance and reference.We must handle well with these vital questions which is link with development model,existence and development:education department’s subordinate to which school and institution, position, localization, tasks, major settings, curriculum settings, teacher troops.
