To programme and calculate Global Spatial autocorrelation of population information and local Spatial autocorrelation indicators of2010population of the State or city in Yunnan province based on R software and GeoDa software, statistics, demography, maps, databases, electronic information technology and other related scientific and technical, and to implement GIS technology and spatial aggregation of statistical analysis, and to provide useful exploration of scientific research and management of the population information in Yunnan province. Importance:(1) R and GeoDa softwares are international free software, solves the General disadvantages of GIS softwares are expensive, conducive to wider promotion and outreach, has strong economic value and application.(2) The introduction of statistical clustering of Spatial autocorrelation analysis to the State or city of Yunnan province in population statistics, making research more scientific and general information of the population, with a wide range of applications of space and practical value.The population number, sex ratio, birth rate, mortality, natural growth, and population density six indicators (representing population gender structure, number structure, and growth structure of population information) of16states or cities in2010from Yunnan Provincal Statistics Almanac were constructed space map, and weight matrix, space file by GeoDa software, and calculated global and local of Moran’s I value, and showed directly by thematic map or Scatter Plot, base on R software and GeoDa software to analysis the space gathered, compared with Combined with population information indicators of absolute, relative sort of map comparison study, provides policy recommendations.Conclusions:1, R and GeoDa software can implement space-related statistical analysis;2, R and GeoDa software can achieve the information reflected in the population sex structure of the population, population structure, population growth and structure of six indicators of Spatial autocorrelation statistics analysis;3, R and GeoDa software global autocorrelation indexes derived from (the province) results are consistent, such as population, the population density in the province are within the scope of spatial agglomeration, high or low gathering, while the sex ratio at birth, birth rate, death rate and natural growth rate of no significant spatial aggregation;4, R and GeoDa software that indexes related to local (State and city), most consistent results, but there are a few differences. Recommendations:1, R and GeoDa software should be used with their own strengths and weaknesses;2, Demographic information characteristics in Yunnan province is divided into five areas, yunnan province population number is divided into three areas, will be carried out by State or city or region preliminary "demographics", be establishhed "Yunnan province population space demonstration area", be carried out by partitioning key control, which playing a demonstration effect and improve the radiation efficiency of geography.
