The Spatial Evolution And Correlation Analysis Of Population, Economic Aggregation And Environmental Pollution In China

With social and economic development,the contradiction between population,economy and environment is becoming more and more prominent,especially the haze weather in recent years,which has a great impact on the sustainable development of China's social economy.Population growth is not only the result of economic development but also the cause of economic development,the environment is affected by population and economy.Therefore,the coordinated development of China's population economy and the environment can be achieved only if the population,economic and environment in the region work together.What spatial distribution and correlation does of China's population and economic aggregate and environmental pollution present? This study will provide suggestions for the coordinated development of population,economy and the environment.However,at present,there is relatively little research on population and economic aggregation and environmental pollution in China.This article has been supplemented in this regard,providing inspiration and lessons for the follow-up studies on the theory and methodology.This paper uses the center of gravity model to analyze the center-gravity coordinates movement direction movement distance and eccentricity distance between population and economic aggregation and environmental pollution in china from 2000 to 2004,and reveals the spatial distribution changes of population and economic aggregation and environmental pollution.Using spatial coupling and grey correlation,the relevance of population and economic aggregation to the center of environmental pollution is studied and policy recommendations are proposed.Main conclusions:(1)The concentration of population and economic concentration and environmental pollution deviated from the geographical focus and shifted to the southeast;(2)The center of population moved to the southeast,and the non-equilibrium of population concentration was reflected in east-west direction;(3)The focus of economic integration moving in the northwest direction,the non-equilibrium of economic aggregates is reflected in the east-west direction,but in the recent years the gap between the north and the south has been further widened;(4)The areas with serious environmental pollution are located in Hebei province and Shanxi Province;(5)Population and economic aggregate and the spatial changes in the focus of environmental pollution are inconsistent,and there is a strong correlation between economic aggregation and the focus of environmental pollution.
