Tai Chi is referred to as the" national essence", has a long history in China. He is not only a kind ofmartial arts project, but also is a sports and fitness project. Is the Chinese dialectical theoretical thinkingand martial arts, art, the perfect combination of guiding operation, is the high level of human culture. TaiChi culture precipitation can not only improve participants ’ physical and mental health, but also to practiceto bring philosophy thinking, promote the practice of spiritual development. Colleges and universitiesTaijiquan exercise in promoting students’ overall development at the same time, also in inherit and carryforward the fine traditional culture of the Chinese nation. So the Taijiquan Teaching in Colleges anduniversities of research has an important theoretical and practical significance to study.This article uses the literature material law, questionnaire survey, on-the-spot investigation, logicalanalysis, mathematical statistics and other research methods, on the north area of Henan Province Collegesand universities Taijiquan class setting, teachers, students, teaching environment and other aspects ofcognition are investigated and analyzed, and on the north area of Henan Province Colleges and universitiesTaijiquan class construction proposes the corresponding optimization measures through the analysis ofinvestigation result reached the following conclusions:(1) in the north of Henan Universities generally opened the Taijiquan class, teaching content tothe24type of Simplified Taijiquan teaching content mainly, single;(2) the Tai Chi teachers and studentsgenerally heavy Tai Chi technology rather than its cultural connotation, the teacher about Taijiquan cultureand theory to the education of students is relatively small;(3) teachers’ teaching methods, lack ofinnovation and breakthrough, students in Tai Chi Chuan cognition is not comprehensive enough, Taijiquanteaching effect not just as one wishes.(4) the campus Taijiquan atmosphere on students’ participation in theinitiative has great influence;(5) Tai Chi Competition and the game less,for university students toparticipate in contests and games less.
