In recent years, as networking technology develops constantly, cloud computing has been a hotresearch topic in computing area. People usually pay attention to its super-computing and massive storagecapabilities and ignore its collaborative function. Especially, cloud computing platform creates a richlearning atmosphere and provides an easily-interactive collaborative environment for collaborative learning,in which multi-people collaboration, document and knowledge creation, editing and sharing can beimplemented satisfying the features of constructivism and collaborative learning theory. Many deeptheoretical research and applications have been done by both domestic and overseas researchers ineducation circle. Many cloud computing Assisted Instruction platforms have been designed andimplemented, on which collaborative learning and instruction have been carried out. This helps to richenoutside-class learning of learners, enhance learner communication and collaborative skills and promotelearner learning effectively.In this paper, applying cloud computing platform, Baihui, and combining constructivism,collaborative learning and instructional design theory, cloud computing assisted instruction platform hasbeen established and concrete instructional design procedure has been put forward. In addition,collaborative learning model has been established on the platform. In the end, two concrete instructionaldesign plans have been designed by analyzing the features of principles of computer organization and usinginstructional design procedure and collaborative learning model and applied on the platform. Teachingapplication shows the instructional design not only enhances learner communication and collaborativeskills but also promote learner learning effectively.The key points contained in the paper are as follows: (1) Detailed analysis of the current state of cloud computing and collaborative learning. The bothdomestic and overseas current research state of relating cloud computing and cloud computing assistedinstruction platform has been summarized and the shortcomings of relating the current instructional designof collaborative learning based on network and cloud computing assisted instructional platform have beenanalyzed in details, on which the research contents in this paper are put forward.(2) Theoretical analysis of instructional design of cooperative learning based on cloud computingAssisted Instruction platform. Feasibility and advantage of combining collaborative learning and cloudcomputing assisted instruction platform are analyzed under the direction of collaborative learning,instructional design and cloud computing Assisted Instruction theories. The total compositions ofcollaborative learning instructional design are put forward by analyzing the related references ofinstructional design, collaborative learning, and collaborative learning circumstance and activity design.(3) Research of instructional design of cooperative learning based on cloud computing AssistedInstruction platform. Cloud computing platform, Baihui, and its functions are introduced briefly and cloudcomputing Assisted Instruction platform is designed by combining its functions. Instructional designprocedure has been put forward, which is composed of learner feature analysis, learning task design,learning group structure design, collaborative learning circumstance design, collaborative learning activitydesign, teacher activity design and learning appraisal design. The complete and detailed instructionaldesign flowchart is given. The collaborative learning model is designed in collaborative learning activitydesign, in which the “heterogeneous in group and homogeneous among grouping approach is put forwardand the mechanism of diversification appraisal,dual cycle design and learner data bank are constructed.(4) Application of instructional design of cooperative learning based on cloud computing AssistedInstruction platform in teaching. Two concrete instructional design plans have been designed by analyzing the features of principles of computer organization and using the instructional design procedure andcollaborative learning model and applied on the platform. Its effectiveness and feasibility are verified byusing related educational research method.At present, the research of combining cloud computing assisted instruction platform andcollaborative learning instructional design has not been carried out broadly both at home and abroad. Inaddition, the research involves many subjects. In this paper, we tried to carry out some work. Due to thelimited time, the research only deal with the course of principles of computer organization, so itsapplication range is limited. Its universality has not been verified yet. In addition, its availability inexperimental course remains to be studied.
