| Recent years, the situation of high investment, little effects and low efficiency inlanguage learning has thrown teachers and students and related researchers for a loss.This is even worse in the expository essay education during junior middle school.Furthermore, as the developing of modern technology, science education has receivedwidespread attention from the whole world and has formed the core of moderneducation with humane education. The role of expository essay play in theintroduction of scientific knowledge, the description of scientific phenomenon, theexplanation to the rules as well as the promotion of scientific spirit becomes more andmore important, which has attracted increasing attention.Therefore, by using the situation and problems of current expository essayeducation in junior middle school as the object of investigation, this paper points outthe necessity and urgency to change the current education situation via the analyzingand summarizing reasons. It also suggests an improvement method, namely, usingmini topics to organize and lead the expository essay education. It will start anddevelop from the text and try to find the suitable points for study and investigation.Every point is a topic. These mini topics aim to lead depth reading, which will beimplemented in the reading education to let students forming their own views viareference searching and self-reading etc., to learn knowledge and increase awarenessduring the discussion with teachers.This paper focuses on combining the lesson analysis of famous teachers andpractice, represents the importance of introducing mini topics to the expository essayeducation, and illustrates the methods about how to set up mini topics to improve theefficiency of education in this field. In a word, it explores a new method for theinnovation and investigation of modern education. |
