The comparative reading method,which compares and analyzes two or more works that have a certain connection in content or form,is one of the commonly used methods in Chinese teaching.There are many studies on comparative reading,but there are relatively few studies in the teaching of expository texts,and they appear in the form of single teaching cases.This article aims to combine comparative reading method with expository teaching,systematically study the application of comparative reading method in expository teaching,explore implementation strategies,and hope to make a little contribution to the teaching practice of expository.The expository essays in the junior high school Chinese textbooks are the important carrier for teachers to teach expository essays,so they are used as one of the key research materials in the research process.The premise of the research on comparative reading teaching strategy of expository text is that comparative reading method has the basis for its implementation in expository teaching.The study found that comparative reading method has the application value of enhancing students' reading interest,expanding students' reading volume,and promoting teachers' professional growth in expository teaching.It plays an important role in improving the current situation of low interest in expository learning and learning utilitarianism.Therefore,expository comparison Reading teaching is necessary.In addition,the comparative reading teaching of junior high school Chinese expository texts in the part-edited version meets the requirements of Chinese curriculum standards and meets the needs of students' cognitive development.There are many successful teaching cases in teaching practice.It can be seen that the comparative reading method is feasible in expository teaching.The implementation strategy of comparative reading of explanatory essays in junior middle school is proposed based on the analysis of the selected essay content and successful teaching cases.The study found that the comparative reading teaching of explanatory texts can determine the comparison points from four perspectives: explanatory language,explanatory sequence,explanatory content and expression methods.The selection of comparative texts can be the comparison of the same selected essays in the textbook,or the comparison of different selected essays.In view of the small number of selected explanatory essays,comparative reading of explanatory essays can also compare in-class explanatory essays with high-quality extracurricular explanatory essays.In the process of comparative reading of explanatory texts,teachers can use list method,mind map method and induction method to assist teaching to improve learning efficiency.At the same time,in the teaching process,teachers should pay attention to guiding students to conduct comparative investigations independently,and also to summarize and summarize after teaching to ensure the quality of comparative reading teaching of explanatory texts.
