Comparative Research Of Personalized Education In UK, America And Japan

Personalized education has become the tendency of the current education reform both home and abroad, which could cultivate more innovative talented persons for our society. Those talented people can adapt to the needs of social development in the future, so personalized education is of great practical significance. UK, America and Japan, these three countries known as the tradition of personalized education, and their personalized education have gained success. In this thesis, comparing wit h development and implementation of personalized education in UK, America and Japan, the advantages of these their personalized education were analyzed and summed up, which could provoke and inspire development of personalized education in China at present.In the first part, the tradition of personalized education in the western countries was described, such as liberal arts education in ancient Greece, different teaching method in ancient Rome and the thought of personalized educational in Enlightenment period.In the second part, personalized education in Britain, the United States and Japan was analyzed, and summarized the characteristics of individualized education in these three countries.The third part is based on the analysis of individualized education in the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan, summarize and compare the successful experience of the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan.The last part is the successful experience of individualized education in these three countries, which could stimulate and develop personalized education in China at present.
