Comparison Study On Women's Education In Recent History Between China And Japan

In the 1950s,the Western powers has broken the Sino-Japan "seclusion"with military force and compelled dual sides to sign on several unequal treaties.Under such social backgrounds,two countries began the commercial communication and the foundations of hospitals and schools.The social turbulence brought the strong impact towards the cultural formation and development.With the permeation of western new thinking,Sino-Japan female education has begun and developed.China and Japan have the similar historical background about it.Thus,the analysis about modern Sino-Japan female education is the important topic on the dual country researches of female history.The influence of Confucianism and social turbulence make the developments of modern SinO-Japan female education have many similarities and differences.For example,Japanese government played the important role in the development of female education.By contrast,Chinese government had less influence on modern female education,which caused Chinese female education fell behind Japan.The female education has the crucial relationships with social development.In a word,social development improves the development of female education.Conversely,the female who accepted advanced education would bring the new air to social development.The paper analyzes the Sino-Japan female education in the very late nineteenth and early twentieth century.Specifically,first of all,it observes the historical development of Sino-Japan female education;then,it unfolds the excellent intellectual women and the values of female education;at last,through the researches about the modern Sino-Japan female education,the paper analyzes the important contribution that the female education has make to the educational field and modern society.The aim of this paper is to make sure about the importance of social development that the female education has.The paper is divided into 5 parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly describes about the purpose,literature review,research range and the method.The second part observes about formation and development of Chinese female education and brings about the brief introductions about their values of modern female education and intellectual women.The third part analyzes formation and development of Japanese female education and talks about their values of modern female education and intellectual women.Based on the comprehensive analyses of modern Sino-Japan female education,the fourth part discusses about the similarities and differences.It compares the similar Sino-Japan formations between "good wife and mother"and " good mother and wife" and make sure about the different effects to modern society.The fifth part is the conclusion and further research topics.
