Form teachers' classroom management is one of the most important part in educational management.However,studies on comparing Chinese and Japanese education mainly fucus on moral education,teaching,and ideological and political education and omit to research into classroom management of Chinese and Japanese form teachers,especially form teachers in primary schools.It is obvious that researchers haven't put a strong emphasis on classroom management of primary schools' form teachers.Therefore,it is necessary to do further research into it.Classroom management of form teachers is attached great importance to in China and Japan.Each has its own characteristics on conducting its management.But there is still much experience that China can learn from Japan.This research,whose research subject is classroom management of primary schools' form teachers,presented the positive theoretical and practical meanings of classroom management.A form teacher is not only the organizer and educator of a class but also its cooridinator of the relationship between a school and parents,as well as students and teachers.Classroom management is work of management and also art of management.It plays a significant part in schooling management.It is the way that form teachers take charge of everyone and everything in the classroom effectively in order to complete the task of educating and teaching at school and finally realize the goal of educating.China and Japan have the same teaching aim that is to realize the socialized goal and prepare students to become qualified citizens.To fulfill the aim,form teachers have to study students,strengthen ideological and moral education,and provide every student with appropriate education.Meanwhile,form teachers have to make plans and produce summaries in time so that they could improve their ability to manage students.However,there are still some differences between these two countries on management.That is,they have different focuses,different ways of conducting moral education,different evaluation criterions for measuring how good students are,and different ways of interaction of parents and schools as well.Based on comparing the management of form teachers in primary school in China and Japan,analyzing historical backgrounds,education policy,schooling management and student management of their education,this study gave some suggestions for the management of form teachers in primary school.Firstly,renew the ideas in classroom management.Secondly,set a goal of classroom management.Thirdly,enrich the content of classroom management.Fourthly,innovate new ways of classroom management.Fifthly,rebuild evaluation system of classroom management.
