Hu Shi is one of the pioneers and advocators of the’May Fourth’New Culture Movement, literary revolution and vernacular movement in China. No matter in the academic history or literary history, the idea of Mr. Hu Shi is always an important part of China’s Intellectual. And recently the study of Hu Shi’s literature idea has become a topic of academia, a lot of people talk about him in order to redraw the face of Hu Shi to the entire world. However, if all aspects of study of its ideological view also make us find that Hu Shi absolutely is not limited to our contribution to the literary, philosophical, ideological, cultural aspects, but also a large part of his inspiration and influence for Chinese Language Education. He attached importance to the vernacular as the instrumental status of national language education, attached more importance to the literary education in primary and secondary language education, and also attached great importance to the cultivation of students’ oral communication ability.Therefore, this paper try to summarize the educational thought of Mr. Hu Shi, including the "national language education tool", the idea of "Course" and the idea of "Teaching". And in the end we try to have an attempt to explore the forward-looking and practical significance of Hu Shi Language Education thought.Thought of Hu Shi Language Education in academia is not much, most of which are around the finishing overview of his thoughts. So this paper wants to research two major essays of Hu Shi’s Chinese education, combined with more memoirs, diaries, letters, speeches to have a whole impression of him. Focusing on the first, second, three chapters, we discuss about the "national language education tool", the idea of "Course" and the idea of "Teaching". In the fourth chapter, we try to put Hu Shi’s three ideological into our now social, and strive to restore a three-dimensional and a profound influence of Hu Shi.
