A Study On The Chinese Main Leaders' Thoughts About Educational Policy From The Foundation Of The Chinese Communist Party

Under the leading of the Chinese Communist Party, a glorious achievement of education in China has been achieved since the 1920s. By observing the process of educational policy in China from its appearance, development to its abundance, we can never neglect the great influence which is made by Chinese main leaders' thoughts about educational policy. We can even say that educational policy in China has formed under the influence of main leaders'educational policy thoughts. The educational policy thoughts of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao, briefly explains the basic problems which we shoud insist on in China's educational development and reform and the basic requirements which we shoud do in cultivating talents. And they are the theory banners in guiding China's educational development and reform.Firstly, in order to discuss nuclear leaders'educational policy thoughts, this paper heckles the transmutation history of educational policy since the founding of the Chinese Communist Party by using time as links, and grasps the whole pulse of the development of our party's educational policy thoughts. Secondly, it discusses the educational policy thoughts of early leaders:Li Dazhao and Chen Duxiu.Then, it respectively speaks at great length on Mao Zedong's, Deng Xiaoping's, Jiang Zemin's and Hu Jintao's thoughts about educational policy.The artical explains the main leaders'thoughts about educationcal policy from three aspects:their backgrounds, contents and characteristics. They all insisted on socialism direction in education and overall development in cultivating talents,but there are a little bit of differences existing among these leaders.In 21 century, the new generation leaders, have taken the quality-oriented education and innovation education as the contents of educational policy thoughts, which has paid more attention to people oriented thoughts. Several generations leaders' thoughts about educational policy in China has guided the education reforms in different period, and has promoted the development and progress of China's education gradually. At the same time, I have understood deeply the importance of the main leaders thoughts about educational policy, which have not only guided the development of education in China, but also have laid the firm foundation of the full development in China.
