| As a special branch of the education of mathematics, Olympic Mathematics (hereinafter referred to as "aoshu") is regarded as "the acrobatics of thinking". Its development is conducive to the progress of students’ intelligence, to the selection and cultivation of talents and it can also promote the reform of the education of mathematics. Currently in practice, students in primary school make up the greatest part of people who are learning Olympic Mathematics and out-of-school training has become the main form. There are many problems during the training of Olympic Mathematics of students in primary schools which has become the hot topic in education and society.Based on the empirical investigation of A training institution in Shanghai City, this research attempts to reveal the current problems in the training of Olympic Mathematics of students in primary schools (hereinafter referred to as "xiaoao"), analyze the causes of the problems and put forward appropriate countermeasures. The main contents of this research include the following three aspects:firstly, through questionnaire survey and interview, on the basis of understanding the present situation of "xiaoao" in A training institution, show the problems of expansion of training objects, the utilitarianism of training objective and the nonscience of training method. Secondly, from four aspects that the traditional thought that the parents hope the son will have a bright future and hope for the daughter to grow up into a phoenix; in the competitive society,education is paid more attention day by day; examination-oriented education and from primary to junior middle school to analyze the causes of the problems. Finally, according to the problems and causes, tries to put forward some corresponding countermeasures, including:parents should change the concept of education, let the children have a happy childhood; the school should transform the system of examination-oriented education, optimize the educational evaluation system; the government should reduce the gap between schools, promote the balanced development of compulsory education, and to enhance the supervision which including the training institutions, from primary to junior middle school and the cup of the Olympic Mathematics; the training institutions should improve the quality of teachers and optimize the content and teaching of Olympic Mathematics. |
