Mathematics knowledge and mathematics thinking method ofmathematics teaching content through two main lines. Basic knowledge ofmathematics directly to the text form in the textbook, mathematics method ofthinking in mathematics textbook contains every knowledge point, it ismathematical practitioners as the essence of mathematical knowledge,mathematical spirit. But because it is often hidden in the basic knowledge,people more concerned about the level of achievement, leading to its failureto give full play to the mathematics teaching and learning guidance. In viewof the requirements of the new curriculum standard and the current educationreform, pressing requirement teaching of mathematics teachers in-depthexcavation materials, timely extract which contains the mathematical way ofthinking, to permeate every aspect of teaching, guiding the daily teaching andlearning. Therefore, the author bases on the mathematical thought and methodteaching present situation, looks at it in the future prospects for thedevelopment of mathematics teaching in junior high school, special compose"in the teaching of mathematical thought and method of research and practice"one article. In this paper, mainly from the two aspects of theory and Practiceon the topic are presented in this paper. In theory, clarifies the connotation of mathematical thought and methods, the significance and the basic types; inpractice, through the teaching of specific case studies, summarized in thejunior middle school mathematics teaching of mathematics thinking methodteaching strategies, and teaching should adhere to the basic principles.The results show that: the making of teaching goals, the teachingarrangement is consciously infiltration of mathematical thinking method toreveal the inherent law,, inductive, summed up a lot of experience in teaching,greatly enhanced their abilities in teaching and scientific research. Enrichstudents’ learning and problem solving skills, the analysis problem,problem-solving ability has also been upgraded, many students graduallyfrom" learn" to " learn" a change.
