The Research Of The Women’s Political Participation In Hunan

Women’s political participation is a basic right that law gives every female citizen, and it’s also the basic premise and basis of sharing the national political power. It is an important sign of measuring a country’s social development and civilization progress. Without enough and quite of the quality of the women’s political participation, legal equality between men and women is impossible to achieve. Women participation in politics is an organic component for the construction of socialist political civilization and spiritual civilization, and it is an important embodiment to carry out the basic national policy of gender equality.In the21th century, under the great concern of the national policy, our country have made great progress in promoting women’s development and the equality between men and women, constantly improving the level of women’s political participation, and women’s social participation is strengthen.However, because of the external and internal, nature and society, as well as (physical) history and realistic multi-dimensional reasons, women participation in politics is not ideal now. Women are weaker than men in political participation. Therefore, We must enact and perfect relevant law and policy in promoting women’s participation in decision-making and management, improve women’s participation in the decision-making and management consciousness and ability, perfect the cadre and personnel system and civil service management system, enhance the training and selection of female cadres dynamics, promote women’s wide participation of grassroots democracy management, broaden the women’s participation in decision-making and management of the channel, and improve the women’s organizations to participate in the decision and management of influencein the period of constructing well-off society and harmonious society.In this thesis, the authors use the gender theory and social support theory as the theoretical perspective. The author make education degree, participate in social production, gender factors as the independent variable, at the same time, make the political participation behavior, political efficacy as the dependent variable. Then, the author put forward four hypotheses:(1) the current women’s political cognitive less than the men and women political participation behavior less than men, political efficacy is not high.(2) education degree affect women’s political participation behavior and political self-efficacy.(3) social production participation affect women’s political participation behavior and political self-efficacy.(4) gender factors affect women’s political participation behavior and political self-efficacy.Then, the author use SPSS16.0anglicizing the relationship between dependent and independent variables through Logistic regression analysis and multivariate linear regression analysis. At last, We get the conclusion that:male and female political cognitive roughly equal, the female participation rate is lower than men, women’s political efficacy is low; Education degree has significant influence on female’s political participation behavior and political efficacy; Gender factors has significant influence on female’s political participation behavior and political efficacy; Social production of women has significant influence on female’s political participation behavior and political efficacy. Finally, according to the analysis conclusion, we must understand women’s political participation in a right way and promote advanced gender culture; we must optimize employment market environment and promote social production participation; we must improve the education level and ensure the quality of political participation.
