An Empirical Study Of The University Students’ Online Political Participation Behavior Influencing Factors

With the advent of the era of emerging multimedia, the popularization of computers, mobile phones, the daily life of undergraduates has almost inseparable from the Internet. The undergraduates is the main force of today’s Internet use, and Internet affects undergraduates’ way of thinking and behavior. Party’s all previous congress attaches great importance to political participation of citizens, in the new media environment, the online political participation, political knowledge acquisition of the undergraduates. And undergraduates freely express their political views boldly, which will also produce some new problems, so the study of undergraduates’ online political participation has become a hotspot in the field of ideological and political education. Further study of online political participation behavior of contemporary undergraduates, for enriching the related theories of political science, especially the theory of political participation, has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the theory of participatory democracy theory and social theory foundation, through to the part of the questionnaire survey of undergraduates in Wuhan city, this study uses the SPSS statistical software for quantitative analysis of the contemporary undergraduates’ online political participation status and influencing factors of the correlation. And then putting forward the suggestions and countermeasures of standarding online political participation.This study mainly discusses from the following six parts:The first part is the introduction. Mainly includes the research background, research purpose and meaning, domestic and foreign research present situation of online political participation, and the innovation of the research point.The second part is the research design. Introduce the theory basis of this study; Definition of the core, set the online political participation research variables and influencing factors of indicators; Introduce the research content, research ideas and put forward the research hypothesis;The research methods.The sample characteristics; Reliability and validity of sample.The third part is the description of the undergraduates’ online political participation behavior at present.From the undergraduates’ online information search, undergraduates’ online politics to discuss interaction, undergraduates’ Internet political communication supervision and three aspects to interpret the current situation of undergraduates’ online political participation behavior.The fourth part further uses the partial correlation analysis. Explore the online political participation ability, online political participation tendency and individual factors, respectively, the internal relation of online political participation behavior.The fifth part further uses the regression analysis. Inspection on undergraduates’ online political participation behavior between different influence factors analysis, undergraduates’ online political participation ability, undergraduates’ online political participation tendency and individual factors, analyzing the influence degree of the online political participation behavior.The sixth part is in view of the current status and influencing factors of undergraduates’ online political participation behavior analysis. And put forward suggestions about how to standardize the behavior of the online political participation and countermeasures.
