The politics, economics, cultural of China have developed rapidly since1979, and education has also made great progress. With adoption of social reform and opening-up education policy, music education promoted the development of music curriculum. From1979to2010, music curriculum of China has undergone three important phase, we can call them as "reconstruction phase","development phase" and "reform phase".We can see the change of music curriculum in the recent30years through the analysis of music education outline and representative teaching materials. We can also conclude three great transitions which are "The transition from ideology education to aesthetical education","the transition from music education to music subject education","the transition from single subject education to the humanities education". Every transition is not only the reflection of music curriculum, but also makes new problems. Such as the contradiction of actual status and model status, the contradiction between subject knowledge education and music aesthetical education, the contradiction between compiling textbooks and actual demand. The author has pointed out the problem in the construction of music curriculum through analyzing the music education program and representative music teaching materials. And I will also give some advice on the content, teaching mode and the way to compiling teaching materials. I hope I will contribute to providing reference for the development of music curriculum.
