School Education In The Ritual Studies

This paper explores the meaning of the ceremony as the startingpoint, and expounds the concept of the ceremony in the first chapter.First,I will study and analyse the etymology of “ceremony”, and thendefine it based on the summary of the word. It is defined that ceremonyis a behavioral system which is assembled by a series of secondarysymbols whose features are performativity,formality,stability and wholeness，and whose objective is to perform andconverse. And then comb the development process of theanthropology research for ceremony,from which we can find thechange of the ceremonial connotation and the study center of theceremony.The ceremony has many aspects of education effect,and thepaper chooses two aspects which is the mental health education andthe character education to explore the value of education ceremony.The first part explores the significance of drama ceremony on themental health education. On the base of making clear of the meaningand significance of the mental health education, the connotation andeducational significance of the drama ceremony is revealed. Thenexplore how to improve mental health education by drama ceremony.Psychological problems can get shown by the expressive function ofthe drama ceremony, and psychological problems can get healed bythe conversional function of the drama ceremony. The second partexplores the significance of ceremony to the character education. Onthe base of making clear of the meaning of the character andcharacter education, I clarify the significance of the charactereducation. Then the significance of school education ceremony forshaping and strengthening the character is explored. Educationalceremony can paly the role by forming the special field effect, giving the strong proof to the character, and making the students practice therole playing in the ceremony for the purpose of the charactereducation.
