In recent years, with the deepening development of Chinese international promotion, more and more young people join in the group of international Chinese volunteer teachers who become from student to teacher. Teaching profession is considered as one of the most stressful professions, and there are closed relationships among teachers’ efficacy, teaching behavior, and teaching effects. Teachers’ efficacy directly affects educational quality. However, international Chinese volunteer teachers are a special group who take special mission in the special environment. Newly appointed teachers are easily affected by the disturbances from the teaching work, which seriously hamper their professional development. In this background, this article adopts the research methods including documentation methods, investigation and interviews. In the self-designed questionnaire of working pressure and teaching efficacy, the status of60Mongolian newly appointed Chinese volunteer teachers has been studied. What’s more,8of them are chosen to be conducted semi-structured interviews. By conducting these methods, we discover Chinese volunteer teachers’status of working pressure, teaching efficacy, and the correlation between these two points. Conclusions made by this study as follows:(1) Mongolian newly appointed Chinese volunteer teachers generally have working pressure.(2) Chinese volunteer teachers who teach in different school and have different major background have notably different degree of working pressure.(3) There are notably correlation between Chinese volunteer teachers’ personal teaching efficacy, general teaching efficacy and working pressure. On the basis of the survey of newly appointed Chinese volunteer teachers’working pressure and teaching efficacy and the analysis of influencing factors, we give suggestions of how to remit their working pressure and improve their teaching efficacy from volunteer teachers’management system and volunteer teachers themselves. We hope these suggest could be helpful to volunteer teachers’teaching work abroad and promote their teaching efficacy.
