Shanghai University High Level Swimming Team Construction Present Situation And The Countermeasures Of Sustainable Development Research

There have been24years since that the high level sports teams ofour Chinese colleges were established in1987. The scale of the initialpilot colleges is added to235from51colleges and universities, coveredin all the provinces and cities but the Tibet province (autonomousregions). The number of the initial pilot teams is added to severalhundred from some dozens, included traditional categories and themodern projects. And the project layout is more reasonable. With20years of exploration and practice, the high level sport teams in ourcolleges have initially presenting results. With the sports results rising andthe team level increasing; it shows a vigorous vitality and vigor.Shanghai is the first city to try and develop the high level sportsteams. The high standard swimming teams of Shanghai have presentedthe exuberant vitality, not only for the popularization in swimmingaspect, but also for the positive role about the development ofswimming in Shanghai. However, there also have been a series ofproblems to be solved in the whole construction process, which restrictthe sustainable development of the high level of Shanghai universitiesswimming teams.This paper utilizes the literature materials, experts’ interviews,questionnaires, statistics and logic analysis to visit and investigate thepilot projects of Shanghai high level of the swimming teams in fiveuniversities. The study found that Shanghai universities in high level ownleadership attention, the unobstructed students channel and theadvantages of the rich resources in the course of the construction ofthe swimming teams, but it also have some problems such as theinaccurate objective orientation, inadequate fund, the single channelof the funding sources, the absent science and technology guaranteeand so on, which seriously restrict the development of Shanghai high level swimming teamsIn view of the problems and shortages above, this paper putsforward some effective countermeasures:(1) improve the ideologicalunderstanding, and clear the talents cultivation target (2) breakthrough the active management system, and establish a diversifiedstructure (3) gradually perfect recruit students system so as to solve thecontradictions from the matriculate (4) implement the diversifiedtraining system about the training system of "large, medium, elementaryschool" as the main body (5) reform the competition system, andgive full play to the competition leverage so as to activate the collegecompetition market and improve the competition level (6) establish afull-time coach employment system and the training evaluation systemabout the coaches to improve the level of charge (7) increase the fundinvestment to broaden the funding sources to lay the material base ofthe university swimming teams in the high level.
