This research is the first time to put the Stratified Teaching Method (STM) in practice in Tianjin61middle school. In the research, the strategy and principle of the STM practice in61middle school is expounded. The actual effect and existing problems in teaching practice are also summarized and analyzed. At the same time, this research provides relevant theory evidence and reference in biological teaching to other middle school in Tianjin City.Through questionnaire survey and experimental research, this report gets results as bellow:1. Through the investigation, clarified the basic biological learning situation of the seniors in Tianjin61middle school. The students who study biology with ease are only accounted for33.83%. The active students in biology study are only accounted for28.99%. The investigation said that most students were not so much interested in biological lecture, and the only force driving them to sit in the biological classroom was to deal with examinations. Most students have not enough initiative to study biology, and lots of students fell hard in biology study.2.Through the Stratified Teaching Method Practice Research①Improve students’interests and initiative in biological study.②Improve students’ operation ability of biological experiment.③The relationship between students and teacher gets nearer, and increase the parents’trust of the school.④The student’s academic performance markedly improved, Session1than that in comparative classes1improved6.82percentage points, and Session2than that in comparative classes2improved4.59percentage points.According to this research, the suggestion for the biological teaching work in Tianjin61middle school are as follows:①Strengthen the Stratified Teaching Method consciousness, Change teaching methods, Promote teachers’ professional quality.②Enhance the responsibility and dedication of teachers.③Strengthen the cooperation work of the same subject group.④The implementation of the STM needs supports of school and parents⑤Construct a new type harmonious relationship between teachers and students.
