Since the1990s, two importment reforms have happened in higher educcation,firstly, Chinese universities and colleges carry out the merger of enrollment andemployment system, and graduate students have to obey national dirstrition in1994;Secondly, Chinese universities and colleges begin to expand enrollment, andstudents increasingly large scale in1999. Driven by the two major reforms,ChineseHigher Education Preliminary realize the transformation from elite education tomass education.These changes of higher education environment have more or lessinfluence on the college student’s employability. Related researches indicate thatclubs plays an important role in cultivating college students’ ability. So, the authormakes a survey of students of2007-2010level participating in clubs in HunanCollege to discuss the relationship between college students’ experience inparticipating in clubs and employability.The results processed by statistical software SPSS13.0show that: therelationship between college students’ experience in participating in clubs andemployability is significantly related, that is the more the experience, the better theemplyability.In specific evaluation,the relationship between communication abilityand employability is moderately related and the relationship between teamworkability,social responsibility,selfrealization,self-confidence,organization and planningcapacity and employability shows low correlations.The results of regression analysisshow that the communication ability,selfrealization and teamwork have enteredthe regression equation for employability and the communication ability has themost important influence on employability. But there still exists some problems instudents’ participating in college clubs which have restricted the universities’function of fostering employability. There are mainly the following problems:college student clubs focus on thoughts and neglect practice, low level ofparticipating in college clubs, monotonous role experience in college clubs and therational tendency of taking college clubs as means.Based on the above conclusions and the existing problems of college studentclubs.,the author gives the following suggestions: Firstly college students’ clubsshould pay attention to the college club’s positive effect to employability andsubstantially serve for students. Secondly strengthen the training of students’practice ability and bring into full play the educational function. Thirdly foster the backbone of college clubs and improve the quality of club activities.Fourthlyintroduce the duty competition system to increase the experience of club role. Lastassist college clubs to have balanced development centerd around the collegeassociation.
