| With the continuous implementation of the university's enrollment expansion policy, the number of college graduates is increasing every year.According to the statistics of the Ministry of Education, the number of college graduates nationwide reached 8.2 million in 2018,and will reach 8.34 million in 2019.The employment pressure of college students is increasing.Although universities continue to pay attention to the employment situation of college students, they overemphasize the importance of employment rate, salary and welfare to the quality of employment, and pay insufficient attention to the improvement of college students' employability.Based on this, the research starts from the concept of career planning and pays attention to the improvement of college students' employability. It is not only conducive to enriching the theory of the employability, realizing the localization of employability, but also beneficial to deepen the understanding of the employability for colleges, strengthen employment guidance, and promote the reform of education and teaching in colleges, and improve the quality of talent training. The thesis comprehensively uses a variety of research methods such as theoretical deduction and field research, studying the relevant theory of employability, the problems, causes and means of improving college students' employability. On the basis of summarizing and generalizing a large amount of references, the paper summarizes the concept and composition of employability, and introduces the relevant theories of employability. The research shows employability is a complex concept,of which meaning can be extended with the changes in the market demand for talents. It is the ability of individuals to acquire, retain and adapt to work.College students' employability is the ability to internalize external knowledge into personal acquisition, retention and adaptation through theoretical and practical exercises. It is mainly composed of three core elements,self-development ability, job application ability and workplace adaptability. Then on the basis of questionnaires and interviews,an in-depth and systematic theoretical analysis of the employability improvement of college students is conducted. The study finds college students' self-development ability is low, whose job-hunting ability is relatively weak, and vocational adaptability needs to be improved. It is related to the students' weak awareness of career planning and the subjective consciousness of employment, the lagging renewal of the concept and mode of talent cultivation in Colleges and universities, the single content, methods and approaches of employment guidance and the relatively outdated content of practical teaching.Based on the problem-oriented principle, the researcher hopes that colleges should optimize the training mode of talents from the perspective of career planning, build a flyover for talent training, adapt to the needs of College Students' personalized development and improve their self-development ability. Then, college should strengthen vocational development education and employment guidance, and carry out campus career planning education activities and career guidance activities in various ways.Employment guidance of the whole process, full staff, specialization and informationization should be implemented to improve the ability of job hunting and career selection. At last, practical teaching system should be expanded and optimized to give full play to the intermediary role of alumni associations.School-enterprise cooperation should be fully developed.Integration of industry, education and research should be deepened to enhance vocational adaptability. |
