Teachers’occupation identity refers to teachers for their occupation and internalization of occupation role positive cognition, experience and behavior tendency of the complex, it is a kind of individual teachers and occupation related to positive attitude, which belongs to the teachers’ occupation psychology research field. Teachers’occupation identity can be studied in the understanding of teacher occupation development and tendency of the basic situation on the basis of the state and the relevant administrative departments, to develop the teachers’policy to provide reference for the school, and better management of teachers, develop teacher management policy to provide a basis. The capital city of Changsha primary school teachers’ occupation identity specifically, system, can achieve the goal at the same time, as a primary school teacher occupation development provides inspiration, guide teachers to correctly understand themselves, reflect on their own, positioning, in order to examine their own attitudes on occupation, found occupation on it’s own significance. Can draw the attention of the whole society the status quo of teachers, giving teachers’ reasonable expectation, let teachers to better mental state into the education work.The focus of the study is to understand the Changsha City primary school teacher occupation identity status. Research is given priority to with questionnaire investigation, and adopting the investigation method, select six representative300teachers were investigated. The findings are as follows:(1) from look on the whole, the city primary school teachers’ occupation identity degree is higher, but the role of values is not high.(2) urban primary school teachers’ occupation identity exists obvious gender differences, female teachers receptivity is generally higher than that of male teachers.(3) in different age, different age section of the primary school teachers in the occupation identity difference.(4) of different positions of the teacher occupation identity have obvious difference.(5) urban primary school teachers’ occupation identity in degree, title, income level, nature of the school and other background factors no differences.In this study based on the results of primary school teachers in general as well as the characteristics of teachers’ occupation identity in gender, age, education, seniority, job titles, nature and the nature of the school aspect, in the occupation identity dimensions exist on the commonalities and differences are discussed, and from the whole, government, schools, teachers’ three a method is proposed to promote the primary school teachers’ occupation identity and some suggestions.
