This thesis gives the analysis of demands of mobile phone reading ofuniversity students throughout qualitative and quantitative methodsl. It turns out thatdamands of mobile phone reading of university students includes study, practicalknowledge and entertainment. Additionally, study demand is lower, and entertainmentdemand is higher. Furthermore，influencing factors of mobile phone reading havebeen analyzed including individual characteristics, reading contents, readingexperiences, costs and security. Secondely, it needs to improve UIdesign of mobile reading software, give free reading experience and establish thesystem of reading efficiency and read feedback. Then, it is important to make mobilephone publishing individualized, experience-oriented and polynary and so on.
