Mobile phone publishing has been a new way of publishing with rapiddevelopment. This thesis gives the analysis of demands of mobile phone reading ofuniversity students throughout qualitative and quantitative methodsl. It turns out thatdamands of mobile phone reading of university students includes study, practicalknowledge and entertainment. Additionally, study demand is lower, and entertainmentdemand is higher. Furthermoreļ¼Œinfluencing factors of mobile phone reading havebeen analyzed including individual characteristics, reading contents, readingexperiences, costs and security. It makes remands of mobile phone reading ofuniversity students different obviously.Throughout the analysis of demands of mobile phone reading and influencingfactors of university students, this thesis concludes the problems of our mobile phonepublishing. It gives development strategies of mobile phone publishing includingcontents, experiences and marketing based on the analysis of demands of mobilephone reading of university students. Firstyly, content strategies includes thatimprove content quality of mobile phone publishing, innovate the channels of originof contents and set different content platform. Secondely, it needs to improve UIdesign of mobile reading software, give free reading experience and establish thesystem of reading efficiency and read feedback. Then, it is important to make mobilephone publishing individualized, experience-oriented and polynary and so on. At last,this thesis gives a outlook of our mobile phone publishing that the topic of mobilephone publishing should be in accordance with the main stream of social culturalvalue.
