However, the phenomenon observed is distorted by self-selection,which couldnot reflect the real effects of Employment Guidance course. This paper adoptes logitregression method which can not control self-selection, then uses the method ofPropensity Score Matching(PSM) to estimate “Treatment Effect”, the differencebetween their results tell us the strengh of self-selection and if the effect ofEmployment Guidance course is still positive. Then, this paper carried on research ondifferent aspects, and gets several conclusions. It is shown that, when we use PSM, the Average Treatment Effect of the fullsamples is still significantly positive, while the influence decreases by75%. Itindicates that Employment Guidance course is an effective approach to promoteemployment..211project universities and second-tier institutions EmploymentGuidance course has no effect on the graduates’s employment; Employment Guidancecourse in Henan, Neimeng, Beijing, Shandong and Hunan also need to bepromoted;Females and graduates from countryside could benefit from it.
