The science educational function of the Chinese textbook is determined by its instrumental and educational characteristics. Thus it is specifically valuable to do some research into the Chinese textbook, based on its aspects of selection, illustration or exercise, etc. One of the effective ways to give students science education is the promotion of their scientific attainment through Chinese teaching. Thus, there was a need to sort out the science educational factors and presentation inherent in the primary Chinese textbooks to maximize the Cinese textbooks’science education, improve the efficiency of science education, and offer references for textbook compilers and implementers.In this study, the eight sets of universal primary Chinese textbooks of the People’s Education Press as the text, the science educational factors inherented in their statistical analysis, clarity of the eight sets of primary Chinese textbooks contain the science educational factors and the ways of presentation, then get some conclusions and give some recommendations. In order to examine the scientific and educational opportunities for researchers and textbook compilers and implementers. Thus,it can play the educational value of the textbook better.Text is divided into four parts:Part Ⅰ-Introduction, Part Ⅱ-frequency, Part Ⅲ-presentation, Part Ⅳ-Conclusions and recommendations.The first part of the introduction describes the study of the origins, status and limitations of the current study, as well as the significance of this study and research ideas. The second part is the frequency statistics and analysis on the elements of science education in the eight sets of primary Chinese textbooks. The third part is to analyze the elements of science education in the eight sets of primary Chinese textbooks were presented by what means and how to present. The fourth part to draw conclusions and give appropriate recommendations. The study concluded as follows:(1) emphasis on the integration of Chinese and science education;(2) the four elements of the ratio showed a decreasing trend;(3) emphasis on scientific knowledge and skills transfer;(4) emphasis on the "life world" in the science education content;(5) presentation through a variety of ways. Thus, the recommendations are as follows:adjust the ratio of the four dimensions of the elements of science education; increase science and technology and social aspects contents; increase the "pioneering and innovative" aspects contents and optimize the presentation of science educational factors.
