Chemistry curriculum reform is calling for that teachers should pay more attention on construct chemistry core concepts and develop students’ scientific literacy. There is a a general increase in the difficulty of chemical theoretical knowledge. But the chemistry class is becoming reduction.So the "less but more" teaching has became the trend of education. The idea of the chemistry core concepts-based instructional design is pay attention on the formulation of concepts at different periods. When teaching chemistry theoretical knowledge, and made the new knowledge as a complement and expand to the old knowledge. when teaching chemistry elements and compounds, we should pay attention on the connect with chemistry theoretical knowledge, and focus on the association between them, also emphasizing the horizontal comparison of the knowledge. For the purpose to promote students’ understanding and reduce rote learning, and also reduce students’ burden of memory. The chemistry core concepts-based instructional design need to filter and processing teaching content to carry out the less but more education. The chemistry core concepts-based education is a meaningful research topic.The instructional design is an important and effective way to improve the effectiveness of teaching. The chemistry instructional design researchs are most about the appropriate teaching strategies and creation of situational to solve the difficulty and innovation knowledge to enhance students’ learning, But less on chemistry core concepts. So I identified my papers as the chemistry core concepts-based instructional design. My study is context of the information processing theory and meaningful learning theory. In my papers, I used content analysis and experimental research to systematic analysis of the textbook, and determine the general process of instructional design. And lead redox reactions, chemical bonds, atomic structure theory as examples to talk about how to start the hemistry core concepts-based instructional design. And clarify that the difference between the chemistry core concepts-based instructional design and the others is that my research is pay more attention on system analysis.In the practical part of the the paper, I do my teaching practice at Jinhua Girls’ high school. Through teaching and testing, I found that the experimental classes did better on distinguish the difference between the concepts. So the chemistry core concepts-based instructional design can improve the ability to understand and migration knowledges, and also the chemistry core concepts-based instructional design provides a new perspective for the teaching and research.
