Today, a country’s future hangs on education, education’s quality lies on teachers, living behavior and working enthusiasm of teachers are largely affected by salary system. Teachers’ executive meeting of the state council examined and passed Guidelines on Implementation of Performance Pay in Compulsory Schools on December2008. The meeting decided the performance pay system would be first carried out in compulsory education from January1st2009. Now, two years have passed. How the reformation was implemented? What problems were with it? Does it achieve the aim of our Party and government? Have anything need to improve and perfect? With this in mind, author investigated the implement of Performance Pay in Pixian and Longquanyi section of Chengdu as well as studied the problems and causes in the process. Besides, author tries to find out countermeasures and suggestions for it, in order to be useful for optimization of teacher performance pay.This paper was divided into four parts:In first section, elaborated the purpose, the research present situation and research design. The second section generally introduced the implement of teacher performance pay in our Country, and next introduced the implement of teacher performance pay and its influence at Pixian and Longquanyi section separately. In the third section, author tried to analysis problems and causes in the implement of teacher performance pay. First, the implement of teacher performance pay is very hard. Second, teachers are not very satisfied with the reform. The last section, author tried to put forward proposals for optimization of teacher performance pay form government, school and teachers.
