Moral degradation, which can be reflected by Adolescents, starts to emerge inour country. When people put reflection on different sorts of moral problems, theyalways ascribe causes of problems to declination of school moral education. A largenumber of researchers of educational theory try to exploit potentials of schoolmoral education without reservation by means of researching into actual effect ofschool moral education further, which signifies a fact that people not only have anunlimited expectation and of education, and endow it with absolute function.Nevertheless, school moral education has its own limitation,overstating thefunction of school moral education would affect school moral education negatively,and hinder functional influence, which can be embodied in three aspects: schoolmoral education overloaded, educators hold wrong ideas, and students’ moralgrowth nagetively affected. The causes of the limitation of the function of schoolmoral education lie in the following three aspects:1. the basis of human nature andpsychological mechanism about school moral education. The complexity andgenerativeness of human nature and self-constitution of moral learning determinethe uncertainness of the function of school moral education;2. the constructivefeatures of school moral education. The limitation of the contents and the methodsof school moral education determines the limitation of the function of school moraleducation;3. both interior and exterior environment of school moral education.Negative effects caused by the immoral factors in school life and encounters oftime impose restriction on the function of school moral education.The limitation is integrated with unlimitedness, unlimitedness is contained inlimitation. The last part of the article puts forth some suggestion about how to makepossible the function of cultivating morality moving towards unlimitedness, such asemphasizing the process of moral education and weakening the consciousness ofeffect,; combined with broad life and weakening imparting knowledge;emphasizing the students’ self-constitution and weakening moral didactic pave theway for students’ future moral development.
