The paper is divided into eight chapters to discuss the problem of the effectiveness of grade management through score system in senior high schools, and explore those factors which influence the effectiveness of grade management based on score system so as to improve our working methods and strategies, weaken or remove the factors to the greatest extent and ultimately increase the effectiveness of grade management through score system.The purposes for which the author studies the problem are as follows. By performing the points system in grade management, the democratic and harmonious atmosphere of learning and evaluation can be established, the students’personalized features be respected, the development-oriented evaluation based on encouragement be implemented, the educational function of evaluation can really work so that students’development can be promoted forward. By implementing the score system in the grade management, classes and students can be evaluated objectively and the workload of moral education managers can be reduced so as to achieve the moral education and teaching aims smoothly. All this should be effective factors to measure the grade management through score system. Meanwhile, it’s also hoped that the project can provide some instructive inspirations for school grade management using points system in senior high schools at home and abroad.The paper discusses the pattern of school grade management based on score system from both subjective and objective aspects. The paper emphatically analyzes the factors and reasons that influence the effectiveness of school grade management based on score system in senior high schools.How should we study it? What factors influence the effectiveness of grade management through score system in senior high schools? The author chooses the first grade of No.86Middle School where he works as a study case to carry out the project. Now suppose there are following factors which influence the effectiveness of school grade management through score system, such as the subjective judgment of class leaders on duty, the distance of the emotion between students, the impracticability caused by the fuzziness of rules and regulations, the students’identification with the rules and regulations, the quality of being scientific in the grade management, the objectivity and fairness of class leaders on duty, the level of emotional quotient of class leaders on duty, the objectivity of evaluation, the autonomy and incentive of school grade management, the practicability of the grade rules and regulations, the quality of being scientific and normative of the working procedures, the coordination of the organization structure, the objectivity of grade management, the reliability of criterion, the promptness of feedback and so on. In order to study the subject well, the author divides the factors into linear factors and hidden ones before they are proved and then verify the assumption by using a series of research methods. If the assumptive factors do hold water, the author’s assumption is right. If not, it should be removed until the final answer can be found.Through combining a variety of research methods and his own practice, the author conducted a demonstration study on this subject, and eventually developed the following points of view:1. The implementation of score system has a solid basis of public opinion.2. The advocacy in promoting score system in grade management should be strengthened.3. Some criteria are not specific and needs to be perfect.4. There is still a lack of institutional constraints on whether the student leaders on duty are fair.5. The class teacher can feedback appropriately in time; the effect is obvious.6. The score system supervised by the grade can be a good monitoring of students’behaviours.7. Whether the process of making the grade regulations is democratic, scientific, and fair, and whether the election of student leaders is open and transparent, are directly related to the impartiality and objectivity of the score system management.8. The easier the operation of the score rules is, the more convenient it is for the students on duty to carry out and thus their work enthusiasm and motivation can be better encouraged.9. With daily incentive, students can often feel their leaders’good impression and expectation on their class or individuals.10. Sense of team belonging can best stimulate the students’ motivation.How to improve the effectiveness of the score system supervised by the grade of a high school? The author has a corresponding countermeasures and proposals:(a) Selection of the student leaders should be open and transparent.(b) Lay more stress on the student leaders’own quality.(c) Ensure fairness of the system, adhere to the humanized management, implement the detail management.(d) Make full use of the principle of motivation, purpose of dynamic management, and timely feedback on daily basis points.(e) Pave a smooth channel of democratic supervision of students.(f) Improve the students’recognition of the system made by the grade.(g) Strengthen the team spirit, promote harmonious management.(h) Pursue inspirational education, and create a good study atmosphere.
