Vocational identity is of prime importance to teachers. The high vocational identity and the satisfaction of work to teachers will inspire them work whole-heartedly; either improving the work efficiency or achieving the life values of their own. On the contrary, teachers will be lack of interests and passions, low work efficiency, even occupation burnout for work because of the low vocational identity. Teachers of secondary medical school is a special group; they shoulder the important mission to cultivate hospital nurses, the vocational identity directly affect the teachers’development, health grow-up of students, the development of the pharmaceutical and healthcare career, and the social harmony.This thesis divides into three parts and expounds the current situation of secondary medical school teachers. The first part is introduction; it expounds the reasons, background, summary of past studies, and proposes the study methods and thinking ways. The second part is survey result and analysis of vocational identity of secondary medical school; it analyzes the statistics of survey result, summarizes the total level of vocational identity, the difference of all variable quantities, and inquires the reasons of above differences. The third part is measures of promoting the vocational identity of teachers who teaching in secondary medical school. This part comes up with advices from society, school and teachers themselves.This thesis takes the Sichuan Provincial School of Health as example to research142teachers, including theory class teachers, practical training teachers, administrative part-time teachers, and full-time class-charge teachers. The discovery of survey:the total level of vocational identity is relatively high of secondary medical school teachers, however, the feelings of vocational identity is relatively low. The problems exist in occupational status and sense of achievement. There are differences in different variable quantities of secondary medical school teachers:gender differences exist in vocational identity of secondary medical school teachers; the vocational identity total scores and scores in all dimensions, female teachers is higher than male teachers. The higher difference in feeling dimension of vocational identity between male and female; There has difference between employment teachers and regular payroll teachers in recognition of vocational identity, feelings and behavior trend dimensions of vocational identity, the employment teachers are higher than regular payroll teachers. The difference also exists in education background; there has remarkable difference of vocational identity between junior college degree teachers and bachelor degree teachers and above, junior college higher than bachelor and above. However, the difference is narrow between bachelors and above. There has difference between normal graduation teachers and non-normal, and non-normal teachers are higher than normal in vocational identity in whole; but lower in feeling dimension. Overall, the part-time and full-time teachers are not significant, the charge of class and common teachers as well. The feeling dimension exist bigger difference. There has unremarkable difference in both professional teachers of one family. Comparing with three dimensions of vocational identity, wider in recognition dimension, both professional teachers of one family lower than not. There has bigger difference of vocational identity in work load in secondary medical school. The study shows:the influential factors of vocational identity in secondary medical school are extensive; the three parts’(society, school, and teacher) linkage is the effective mechanism to promote the teachers’vocational identity.
