Current Situation And Inflential Factors Of Medical Social Workers Professinal Identity

Medical social work originated in the 16th century, Britain was the first country to introduce the social work in medical institutions. Medical social work is a fledgling industries in our country. It needs long time to be completed.In this case however,the development of medical social work lags behind the average and the professionalization degree is not high, there are some outstanding problems: medical social work social problems such as low awareness, professional brain drain are serious. I think this phenomenon is associated with lower occupational identity of medical social workers, the research of social workers self-professional identity problem has important theoretical and practical significance.On the basis of forefathers’ research, this paper, through the method of qualitative research, visited several Y agencies working in the medical affair social work of social workers and to supervise, conducted in-depth interviews with them. In view of the present Y institutions of social workers interview, this paper analyzes the influence of medical social workers self-professional identity status: although medical social work in this industry has a profound professional emotion, but the medical social work of lacking of professional skills, career prospects are not optimistic, the level of professional identity in medical social work is not high. Based on the medical social worker self professional identity level is not high, this article from three aspects analyzes the influence of medical social work professional self identity factors: their own level, institutional, level and social level. In addition to gender differences, medical social work of individual factors such as age and the ability to work for medical social worker themselves all have strong influences on professional identity; Hospital staff and the physical environment, institutional factors such as the salary satisfaction and social support degree, social policy and social factors on the impact of medical social workers self professional identity. Individual factors and institutions, social objective factors such as joint affects the medical social work of professional identity. So, the author thinks that, to the medical social workers to understand and analyze the present situation and problems of professional identity, multi-angle research and analysis on the factors that affect the professional self, and accordingly puts forward scientific and rational targeted solutions, it is important for the construction of social work team development significance.
