With the era of knowledge economy and the continuous development of marketeconomy,"90" the ideological characteristics of college students a lot of changes, theemergence of many new features. Conform to educational objects and changes in theeducational environment, an accurate grasp of the "90" ideological characteristics of thecollege students, to explore an effective response to "90" undergraduate education is tostrengthen and improve ideological and political education an urgent task, but also enhancethe College Student effectiveness of need. In this paper, questionnaires, interviews,documentary research, select, Chengdu, four colleges and universities300survey research,outlook on life, values, political outlook, morality, comes to love, career outlook,"90ideological characteristics of college students were investigated and analyzed. The surveyshows:"90" Students in the ideological mainstream health, with a strong social ideals, lovethe motherland, with a more positive attitude towards life and a strong sense of socialresponsibility, adhere to the orientation of mainstream values of society, but the survey alsoreflects that "90students’ thought there are some problems: lack of compression capability,individual lack of responsibility, the value orientation of heavy utilitarian, psychologicaladjustment, political belief bias, moral values and ethical behavior of knowing and not one.Despite these problems, but the survey shows that90students in ideologically mainstream isa healthy and progressive. Analysis in the investigation after "90" ideological characteristicsof college students, reasons for the formation of its ideological characteristics were also of theanalysis from the international economic and cultural environment and domestic educationalenvironment, home environment, social environment.
