In 2008,Colleges welcomed the first batch of students born In 1990.Influenced by the media,Using concept of the post—80s college,and the post—90s college students emerge as the times demand.College students,the successors and builders of the party and the state,are valuable human resources and an important force in building socialism.In the future,the post—90s college students will also replace the post—80s college students and become the subject of a commitment to build a harmonious socialist society, practice the scientific outlook on development and enhance the comprehensive national strength.Strengthening and improving the ideological and political education,is the consistent tradition of our party.In the construction and development of a harmonious socialist society with Chinese characteristics,it is necessary to promote ideological and political education levels and the overall quality of the harmonious development of students.As a trans-century generation,the post-90s college students,because of the globalization, informatization and the rapid development of science and technology ,their thinking,behavior, and values are deeply branded with the times.Their ideological and moral conditions bear on the destiny of the motherland and the nation.Therefore,it is the key point to know about the ideological characteristics and unfold the ideological and political education for college students,no matter the main characteristics in terms of changes of students themselves,or the ideological and political education of the objective needs.This paper introduced the first part of the introduction to research background, significance and methods at home and abroad, and the current research status and this innovation points are summarized. In the second part, the paper will discuss the thought characteristic of the post—90s college students ,and all the results will come from the questionnaire survey. Due to the study, we can come to the result that the post—90s college students are active ,generous ,interested in reading ,and appetite to knowledge , with weak economic independent consciousness and psychological. They have strong social competition consciousness and self-centeredness but weak cooperation consciousness. Their personal development goals is high and they have strong incentives to achievement, and this paper emphatically seven ideological characteristics from social environment, ecological environment, school environment, family environment and community environment exploration in five aspects such as ideological characteristics after 90s for the current situation. The third part will analysis the problems of ideological and political education existing in the post—90s college students, including ideological and political education effectiveness education is weaker, many problems exist two aspects, specifically is that students' ideological diversity is more and more obvious; new problems emerge in endlessly; students'phenomenon is more evident; education concepts are backward; education target lacks pertinence; education content and actual student growth disjointed; education methods are inflexible ;education ways remains to be perfect; education environment pending optimization, etc. The fourth part is this key, in this chapter, the article from the guiding ideology, the main content, method innovation, education environment, network carrier starting five aspects, and summarizes the post—90s college students'ideological and political education, many good ways and methods are put forward for relevant departments, education method of some valuable reference, hope for the innovative views of college ideological and political education work webanization.
