Sichuan Youth Basketball Training Status And Its Influencing Factors Is Analyzed

The economic system of China is under great reform.The Socialsystem and people’s mind are under great reform too. Physical Education reflects tothese reforms and development every second.During the reform period, many kinds of conflicts and contradictions of PEhave appeared through different forms and different levels containing athletics andamateurs of PE throughout China and abroad.The sport of basketball in Sichuan Province is under the historical critical period.Sichuan Province has a huge population in China, and as it is opening to the outsideworld, society, economic and culture is changing as every single day goes by.Cities of Chengdu, Panzhihua, Mianyang represent Sichuan Province, and people’sliving conditions are becoming better and better, and also the needs for spirit isgrowing day by day. There are many reserve of talents adult and teenagers to playbasketball. The amateur sport of basketball is coming to the best time since1949. Thefirm development of the teenagers in Sichuan will fuel the great citizens on the sportsdevelopment vigorously, and meet the needs of PE culture, speed up the PE marketon one hand; on the other hand basketball players can join the competition, whichhelps breed a lot of super basketball players, and helps the basketball level increase inSichuan Province.Before I wrote this paper, I did extensive research on the coaches, parents andplayers involved in PE around Sichuan Province and other well-known basketballschools. In2011the middle school in Sichuan Province joined the Nike Cupbasketball league competition and private training camps.I used questionnaires, statistics and other face-to-face techniques to gather myinformation based around the basketball training in general. This is how I came tothe below conclusion.1. The basketball players are very popular in general. Especially in Cheng duwhere basketball has become increasingly popular which is an advantage for youngplayers and teenagers alike.2. The coaches are quite young which helps for continuous development.However the coaches are not very satisfied with the low salary which contributes totheir low self-esteem compared to society’s standards. Stopping them from movingforward in their job and furthermore restricting the players training.3." Combination" mode is the initial stage of exploring, learning and trainingplayers to play with ease but still does not meet the standard in which the players need to fully develop their skill.
