History thinking ability is the nucleus of the subject of History. Developing Senior Students’History thinking ability accords with the demands of teaching aims, and it is an important research task as well. This helps students form an accurate concept in History and master the methods of analyses, syntheses and conclusions. Only students with strong History thinking ability they can conduct a proper analysis and evaluation historical events, historical phenomenon of historical figures to accurately understand and grasp, in order to draw lessons from history, to guide their actions on the historical development process and its laws do, and make a scientific forecast of the future. This article from the five sections discuss the historical thinking skills.Part I:Introduction why the Students’Historical Thinking Ability, the status of high school history in historical thinking skills training and examination-oriented education in the abuses. And discusses to the status of historical thinking skills.Part II:The meaning of the analysis of the meaning of high school students thinking about history and historical thinking skills, indicating the important role of historical thinking skills in the teaching of history.Part III:Analysis of the main contents and characteristics of secondary historical thinking, including the history of thinking in images, historical and logical thinking and the history of creative thinking.Part IV:What are the ways of historical thinking skills training?Part V:The historical thinking skills in the context of the new curriculum training practice, the ability of historical thinking is to train students to analyze the practical problems and the ability to solve practical problems, and ways to cultivate the use of historical knowledge to solve practical problems.Through my research, the Students’Historical Thinking Ability strategy is come to the image of the thinking capacity-building strategy:local history teaching into the teaching of history; the patriotic feelings of the introduction of the teaching of history; the application of visual aids for the teaching of history. Logical thinking capacity-building strategy:learning methods into the teaching of history; the use of analysis of an integrated approach; Interest in training students to learn of history. The strategy of Creative Thinking:"problem solving" teaching model was introduced to the teaching of history. Allow students to take the initiative to acquire knowledge in the classroom teaching, and application of knowledge, identify problems and solve the problem, located the suspect, eliminating doubt to train high school students in historical thinking skills to challenge the thought process.
