The Ed.M is one of the largest professional postgraduate education in China. Andcourse learning is the core of Ed.M training. If the Ed.M curriculum is scientific orreasonable, and if it meet the continuing education needs of contemporary teachers andeducation administrators, will directly affect the training quality of Ed.M. This papermainly implement a questionnaire about the curriculum system of XX University, andthen analysis them in-depth. According to this, This pager investigated the mainproblems and recommendations for improvement of the curriculum construction.The survey about the Ed.M courses found that, the students are basically satisfiedwith the Ed.M courses, and the curriculum are in favor of their objectives, the coursecontent is closely linked to the actual work and covers widely, and also in favor ofenhancing the qualities as a teacher. But there are still some problems with thecurriculum system. For example, the importance for practical is still inadequate, thecourse structure is not reasonable, the necessary factors of curriculum implantation arenot enough, and curriculum management needs to be improved. In response to theseoutstanding issues, this paper proposes several recommendations for improving thecurriculum system of XX university:strengthen curriculum design with the value of“surname teaching”, focus on training literacy as a teacher; and fully tap the school’sown advantages, integrate the education resources outside school further; wildlyemploy classroom teachers, improve the teachers’ capacity of instructional research;carry out case teaching method; emphasis on curriculum organization flexible andinnovative; establish and improve the specification support system for curriculummanagement.
