After a few journalists’ attention, the problem of underemployed college studentswho are called "new unemployed community","nomads" and "ant tribe" graduallyarouses concern among the National People’s Congress and the CPPCC nationalcommittee, and becomes one of central topics which the delegates focus on. In fact, itis also the research object that the theoretical workers should pay more attention to.The college students who will graduate soon from all national universities each yearare a large group, which is characterized by highly-educated and weak hive. Theproblem of their employment has developed into a serious social problem after ruralmigrant workers problems. Although economic research could create moreemployment opportunities and jobs by ways of promoting the specialization of socialwork, vigorously developing the tertiary industry, and so on; sociological researchcould help and aid underemployed college students to achieve employment in someextent by ways of establishing good social mobility mechanism, appealing to thesocial organization and social power, and so on; management research could improveemployment equity by ways of unbundling compilation to release employment spaceand breaking the urban-rural dual structure and household registration system, thetruly chief channel and position to lead this group ideologically is ideological andpolitical education. The ideological and political education of college studentspromote the underemployed graduates to have the correct judgment with the currentemployment situation, change the traditional employment ideas, innovate thetraditional education teaching mode, and strengthen scientific profession careerprogramming guidance of graduates to achieve employment first on thought. Thistopic research aims to solve "why","what" and "how" of the underemployedgraduates according to the theory of ideological and political education discipline——why does ideological problem of the underemployed graduates need to strengthencollege students’ ideological and political education? What is the focus of educationfor the underemployed graduates? And how to reinforce the underemployedgraduates’ ideological and political education is an important issue.Based on the above consideration, the thesis proposes the ideological andpolitical education of college graduates as a research topic to do an innovativeresearch on the unemployed graduates, respectively, the educational subject shouldchange the ideas, the educational object should embody situation policy, the educational medium should be in accordance with the employment need, and theeducational environment should serve ideological education. The educational subjectshould change the ideas respectively from learning view, practice view, job-huntingview, employment view and social view, etc. The educational object should embodysituation policy in view of its correct judgment of employment situation, scientificchange in employment concept, rational application of learning content, rapidcapability improvement of employment, and high attention of mental health. Thestudy on the educational medium’s according with employment needing mainlyexplores definition and content of the educational medium, embodiment of socialdemand in educational content and education method capability-oriented, etc. Toprovide the unemployed graduates new ideas of ideological and political educationdevelopment, the research of educational environment serving ideological educationmainly goes into the macro-environment aspect. From the countermeasures level, thisthesis mainly proposes the following views: Firstly, it is necessary to develop collegeideological and political education. The employment view education should becomethe content of college ideological and political education. It is proper to carry on thiseducation till the graduates obtain employment without interruption as they graduate.Thus, the graduates can get a necessary ideological and political education inobtaining employment; Secondly,ideological and political education of theunderemployed college students should be a kind of education in advance, achieve thepurposes of nipping in the bud, and prevent them from being unemployedeverlastingly after graduation because of encountered difficulties objectively andnegative thoughts subjectively. Thirdly; the mainstay of the underemployed collegestudents’ ideological and political education should be diversified. Main bodies likecolleges, families, communities and government should get involved to the process ofthe underemployed college students’ ideological and political education, and thesemain bodies should actively bring their own advantages and specialty into play, takethe initiative to get close to the underemployed college students, and cultivate theircorrect concept of employment; Fourthly, the ideological and political education ofthe underemployed graduates also need to make certain innovation on the contents,methods, assessment and so on, should make the underemployed graduates as themain subject of the ideological and political education, should fully respects human dignity of the underemployed graduates, and should meet their needs of teachingcontents and methods to achieve good education purpose.
