| This thesis is intended to cast fundamental on the analysis of performancemanagement related theories, seek the way to build performance managementmodule for the administration department of colleges, through case study to statethe achievement achieved in the practice of performance management by theadministration department of TJ university, split in the existing problems and digout the root cause of these problems then propose responding solutions.Firstly this thesis mainly states the background and importance of study on theperformance management of administration department in colleges, throughcollecting documents to categorize the current research status in China and abroad,then introduce the study thinking and study method on the basis of integrated study,after well identify the scope, purpose and content of this thesis then briefly describethe main framework and detailed content of each chapter.Secondary this thesis mainly explain the concept of performance management,analyze the relationship of performance management and performance assessmentsystem, and introduce balanced score card (BSC) theory and its application, keyperformance index (KPI) theory and its application and management by objective(MBO) theory and its application.Thirdly this thesis starts from overview on the performance management of theadministration department in TJ university, with the assistant of introducing thebackground and current status, describes the successful experience on departmentfunction optimization during the process of establishing performance managementsystem in the technology bureau and personnel bureau of executive branch.Finally this thesis lists analysis of the status of performance management in TJUniversity administration, and analyzes the existing problems, and probes into theroot cause for the problems then provide related solution.It establishes theprinciples according which to set up the performance management system for theadministration department in college and it should be comprehensiveness andobjective, unitarity and diversity, qualititative and quantitative combination,scientificalness and feasibility, adaptability and dynamics and so on. The thesisanalyzes the advantage in development that it has made and the opportunity andchallenge it’s facing by the administration department in TJ University. Further ondesign the new performance management module for administration department inTJ University. Thus provide relative solution and general purposed improvement suggestion and comprehensive strategy for common existing problem in mostadministration department of colleges, then enhance the empirical study output tocertain theory level. |
