With the basic education curriculum reform furthering, the teachers are constantlyreflecting on their own teaching organization forms and come to understand the groupcooperative learning in mathematics. During the daily teaching process, teachers nolonger talk through the class. Instead, more time is given back to the students toorganize group work. Group cooperative learning is gradually coming into the highschool mathematics classroom. But the author finds that some errors and shortcomingsstill exist in the group cooperative learning activity in the high school mathematicsclassroom.Many senior high school math teachers still can not carry out the real groupcooperative learning effectively. So, the author undertakes certain exploration on ‘howto carry out the group cooperation study’ in high school mathematics teaching.Literature method and interview method are applied in the study. First of all, inorder to have a solid theoretical foundation, the author has learned works related to thecooperative learning and reading books on new course concept. Secondly, according tothe daily class and class teaching activities, summarize the present situation and theinsufficiency of the implementation of group cooperation in mathematics class and bytalking with the high school mathematics teachers around, understand teachers’attitudes towards the group cooperative learning and the difficulties encountered in thecourse of the implementation. Then, in the high school mathematics classroomcooperative learning, put forward personal suggestions, and put them into practice inclass..Through the study, the author finds a lot of benefits by organizing group cooperativelearning. The communication among students-students and students–teachers can beenhanced. Besides, students’ learning ability can be improved and their interest inlearning mathematics can be stimulated. What’s more, students’ confidence in learningmathematics can be enhanced. Meanwhile, in the process of cooperation, students’spirit of cooperation, cooperation skills and expression ability are well exercised, which is of great benefit to the development of students in the long term.
