In recent years, E-Service Learning,as a combination of Service Learning andE-learning, is originating from an European&American experience teaching pattern. Itadvocates the participation in Knowledge Service activities under the digitialcircumstances among students. With the connection of the service experience andcurriculum content through Introspection, it aims at deepening the understanding of theknowledge and improving the ability to apply knowledge and comprehensiveaccomplishment. At present days, it is on the rise in the study of E-Service Learning in forgeincountries. While in China, it is still an virgin field. In pracice, E-Service Learning hasbeen widely used on the Internet, but these learning activities seems to be rough andloose and lacking in an systematic integration of knowledge learning and shool courses. In response to the present situation, this paper, based on the overseas researchresults, combs the denotative meanings and basic principles of E-Service Learning, hoping that the experts and specialists in this field concerned understand and concernthis new type of learning pattern and explore the basic method of integrating thisteaching method into school courses by constructing a Curriculum-Guided E-ServiceLearning.This paper mainly explores the following contents by using the method ofliterature research, comparison research, experts investigation, questionaire survey andsemi-experimental research:First, it discusses the denotative meanings and basicprinciples and theory of E-Service learning.Second, it constructs the theoretical modelof E-Service Learning, mainly concluding the component parts、implementationprocess and evaluation method etc. relying on the orientation of courses and based onKolb “experiential” learning circle and educational theory concerned.Third, based onthe above-mentioned theory model and implementing the courses in the virtualcommunity, it tests the feasibility and effectiveness of this teaching pattern byintegrating E-Service Learning into the practice of Educational Technology course. The results indicates that E-Service learning has a positive influence on the thecourse study, the improvement of information accomplishment and learner’s autonomy. With reasonable teaching design, E-Service Learning can be integrated into students’course study as an effective teaching pattern.
