Juvenile Delinquents Deviation Behavior And Family Function, The Relationship Between Self Control Study

Juvenile delinquency is a serious social problem concerned by the whole worldin nowadays, and the causing of deviant behavior and criminal behavior have directcausal relationship, which is often a portent of juvenile delinquency. Therefore, tostudy for deviant behavior and to explore its causes have extremely practicalsignificance for preventing and saving young people with deviant behavior.The method of questionnaire survey is used in this study, with the research toolof the revised "Deviant behavior questionnaire","Family functioning assessmentscale,""Self-control questionnaire ",and the object of326juvenile delinquentimprisoned less than three months and296middle school students, in order toachieve the following purposes:（1）To understand the characteristics of the deviantbehavior of the juvenile delinquent before imprisoning;（2） To analyze therelationship of deviation behavior and family functioning and self-control of juveniledelinquent;（3）To use structural equation model to explore the path of deviantbehavior for juvenile delinquent.The results of the study show that:（1）the deviant behaviors of juveniledelinquent perform significantly more than ordinary middle school students,besides,“Killing time in internet bar or playing games in game hall”and “Watching violentaudio-visual products and publications” may be important early warning signals ofaggravating deviation behavior or crime for juvenile delinquent（2）The deviationbehavior of juvenile delinquent has correlation with family functioning andself-control;（3）The family functioning of juvenile delinquent affects its deviantbehavior through self-control, and the self-control is an intermediary variable, therelationship between family functioning and deviant behavior is covariation.
